How to Teach Someone Something Essay If I had the opportunity to teach someone something is would be how to play Black Ops 2. Black Ops 2 is a challenging game when you start out playing the game at first, but when you get used to it pretty simple and easy to master. What you need is a game system that the game would work on like Play station 3, Xbox 360, or a Wii. The first thing you need to do is turn on the game system you have and insert the Black Ops 2 game and go to the section where the game is showing and select the game. After you select the game you wait for the game to load, and once it loads you press the â€Å"start†button as it says, and it would be located in the center on the controller you are using. Once you have done that you want to play on companion mode because that’s where they teach you all the controls. Second thing you wanna do is watch the story they tell you or you can skip it by pressing the â€Å"X†button if you are playing on playstation and if you are on the xbox it would be the â€Å"A†button. While you are in the game mode and you are going to start taking out your enemy targets to aim you want to press the Left trigger button and its on playstation 3 and on Xbox. The shooting button is the right trigger button. On the triggers it will say â€Å"L1†and â€Å"R1â€

Nationality:     He was an American author who lived in Salinas, California. He was educated at Stanford University. He first worked as a fruit picker, but then moved to New York. He didn’t like it in New York so he moved back and became an author. Style:     John Steinbeck’s style is to write about something that he knows first hand. He likes to have all the details before writing his stories. Prior to writing The Grapes of Wrath, he caught up with some migrants from Oklahoma and rode with them on their journey to California.      His style in The Grapes of Wrath is to have a chapter with dialogue and the story, and to then give a picture of the times. He describes the depression of the 1930’s and gives the reader a full view of what the migrants were going through. There is a dialogue and ‘story’ chapter, which is followed or preceded by an ‘intercalary’ (between) chapter. The ‘intercalary’ chapters are what serve to show the migrant’s struggling, and the big picture of what times were like. Genre:          The Grapes of Wrath is considered a protest novel to many. Steinbeck originally wrote it to ask California farmers to have sympathy for the migrating ‘Okies’. However, today recognized as a classic, this would most likely fall under the genre of drama. Notes:          As you read The Grapes of Wrath you must take into consideration that Steinbeck has traveled with Oklahoma migrants so that he is writing from experience. However, because he wants to get sympathy for migrants he may exaggerate conditions a little. Steinbeck uses a lot of symbolism in his writing. He starts with a turtle symbolizing the Joad family and the hardships they will face. Characters symbolize and foreshadow events, and small things can play a larger role than expected. Steinbeck’s mastery of symbolism and his relating to the bible can be seen throughout the entire novel. THE GRAPES OF WRATH Conversion and the many changes that take place      Tom and his family undergo significant change due to uncontrollable forces that occur throughout the book. Through these events he and his family go through conversion, death and rebirth, migration, and are on constant pursuit for a better life. Many inner and outer changes occur throughout the entire novel. The Joad family begins the novel as self-centered individuals, and end the novel as a universal family with all the other migrants from Oklahoma, also known as ‘Okies’. This food additives essay is basically an advantages and disadvantages essay. You need to be careful with the word ‘outweigh’ as this often confuses students. The word ‘outweigh’ can be placed in different ways in the sentence so rather than work it out, it is better to think of it simply as ‘are there more advantages or disadvantages Decide what you think there are more of and then state this in the thesis statement without mentioning the word ‘outweigh’. However, there are concerns that these have harmful effects. In my opinion, the potential dangers from this are greater than the benefits we receive. There are several reasons why chemicals are placed in food. Firstly, it is to improve the product to the eye, and this is achieved via the use of colourings which encourage people to purchase food that may otherwise not look tempting to eat. Although companies claim these food additives are safe and they have research to support this, the research is quite possibly biased as it comes from their own companies or people with connections to these companies. It is common to read reports these days in the press about possible links to various health issues such as cancer. Food additives have also been linked to problems such as hyperactivity in children. To conclude, despite the fact that there are benefits to placing chemicals in food, I believe that these principally help the companies but could be a danger to the public. It is unlikely that this practice can be stopped, so food must be clearly labeled a nd it is my hope that organic products will become more readily available at reasonable prices to all.
